my legs and arms hurt...
SYF for my seniors are comin soon... on 19 april
i am asking our senior to see if we can also get LOA on that day to support them.

In case you do not know, SYF stands for singapore youth festival where performing arts come together for something like an exam. Basically, we are supposed to give a performance and there will be judges to judge which award the troupe will get. it is either gold, silver or bronze. there is a gold with honours  which is given to the troupe if they scored 3 consecutive golds in a row! you know what?? nanyang chinese dance troupe has gold with honours since forever!

oh yeah, and LOA stands for leave of absence which is given to students with valid reasons to not attend school on a particular day. it also has to be approved by the principal.

this week, nanyang modern dance has gotten gold with honours for their SYF performance and so did nanyang chinese drama! there are also many other awards for other competitions. our principal was so proud of us that she promised us that we will get a half day off!!!!!!! i have never heard of that because there was no such thing in my primary school. you cannot imagine how glad the school was to hear the news! we all started cheering!
