DSA for Chinese Dance

We had chinese dance DSA on Friday. 8 June. In case you don't know what is DSA, it stands for Direct School Admission. I got into Nanyang through that.

It was a very humbling experience, to think that i was one of those students last year. i have to admit, some of them were very good! But, i noticed that this year, there were very little DSA pupils. Besides, they all seemed very small-sized. Of course, those whom were tall would get a head start as Lao Shi (Teacher) liked tall students.

As the parents were not meant to look inside and watch their girl, we stood there in front of the door and blocked them. It was fun! We were like, " Can they see? Can they see?" Heehee :)

If you are planning to go for DSA to NYCD anytime soon, then i have a few suggestions for you:
1st: Try to sit and stand straight. Look tall and proud.
2nd: Always tie bun.
3rd: Your flexible should be good. Practice a lot.
4th: Try to dance chinese dance. Like maybe your previous SYF dance.
5th: There is no need to show your flexibility in your dance. What Lao Shi is looking for is the feeling. (Gan Jue)
6th: Look as presentable as possible
7th: Always smile:D

Good Luck! :)))

Oh yeah, if you have any questions, you can ask :) By commenting:))
