Kitchen pipe system stuck and overflowed

Ya... it overflowed.
i was washing the dishes and it flowed out from beneath.
my mom had to open up the pipe and practically dig up all those stuff inside.
It stunk. Truly stunk. Like never before has anything stunk this bad to me. Even rubbish or a moldy bread.
It was bad.
Poor mum had to clear it all up.
I couldn't even go anywhere near it cuz if i went there, i felt like puking...
Turned out it was all tiles.
Small, chipped pieces of tiles.
We suspect it is from upstairs cuz they are renovating.
Besides, my dad cleared it  a few months ago.
How could it get stuck so fast if it were food?
Gosh it stunk sooo bad...
