Citizens of the world...!

I love the sound of it!
It came across to me when we were celebrating national day in school today.
Why do we need countries?
And then see ourselves as citizens of different ones?
Can't we just be the citizens of the world?
Then, they will be a world day :)
Imagine that.
The whole world coming together as one.
One Earth!
Everybody seeing themselves as a whole.
All races, languages and religions.
Together as a whole.
Peace throughout the land.
We all stop killing each other.
Stop killing our own kind.
Let us all be untouched by greed and hatred.
Learn to accept each other.
Then, they will be no wars.
No need for armies.
No need for lives to be taken.
No need for fear.
No need for enemies.
Just friends, allies.
Just happiness.
Just peace.
Just sharing.
Just love.
Unconditional, simple, true love.
Imagine that.
